Method
The Cymedics DSD is suitable for the measurement of the local thickness of fat and muscle layers using ultrasound. In addition, the Cymedics DSD software calculates total body fat percentage.Furthermore the waist-hip ratio, body mass index (BMI) and basal metabolic rate (BMR) are calculated.
The Cymedics DSD software represents the changes over a time period and creates reports from the data collected of the condition of the body. The measurement is fast, non-invasive and painless.
